Fantastic Places I've Seen Because Of Timeshare

When you say the word timeshare you get a surprised look on people's faces. It's not hard to find scandals surrounding the timeshare business. I've seen those too. Owning a timeshare for us has been a great experience that has rewarded us. We've seen gorgeous places and enjoyed them in a way that we could not have otherwise done with our limited travel budget. It's taken our vacations to new heights. We have stayed in really gorgeous accomodations and that makes all the difference when you're out to have fun.

Let me share a few of our highlights from our timeshare vacations. One of our most favorite destinations to vacation in is Kauai, Hawaii. This is one of the first places we went with our timeshare. The 2 bedroom villa was right on the beach with a balcony that looked right out on to the ocean. It was just just amazing. The unit was fully equipped with 2 bathrooms and lots of space which made it easier staying with our kids. The kitchen was great to store snacks for everyone and make frozen drinks at night. Being right on the beach we were able to take an early morning stroll as the sun was rising . And after a fun-filled day of seeing waterfalls, laying on the beach, exploring Hawaiian Villages it was nice to come home and have room for everyone to relax and not be on top of each other. And as a bonus, the timeshare resort has the largest pool in all of Hawaii. I have a difficult time staying in a hotel room after that.

Another favorite destination of ours is Aruba. I strongly recommend the Caribbean for your next vacation. Soft sand beaches with warm crystal-clear water . How would you like to be served fresh fish and wine while sitting down at a romantic dinner and the table is on the BEACH? Just think, as you are being served, the ocean waves are crashing on the shore. And as good as you think that is, it's even better. Aruba is a gorgeous island with lots to see and do but it is not a party place. It's a very laid-back feel. The resort feels like an oasis. The villa was so much larger than any hotel room and included a very nice hot tub. The villa we stayed in had a comfortable living room with all the amenities like TV, DVD player and stereo . It's like getting the keys to your rich Uncle Arthur's place on the beach. I can't remember staying in a hotel room that had a living room that wasn't also the bedroom.

Have you ever vacationed on the Mediterranean? Last but not least was our trip to Marbella, Spain. I had never been to Europe before. I had friends who stayed in hostels or less expensive hotels and some of their stories were "interesting". That was not for me. But when I checked into the cost of higher end hotels in Madrid I was flat-out alarmed at the prices. Staying in a timeshare allowed us to stay within our budget, stay in a gorgeous location and very upscale accommodations and for less than the cost of a hotel room. And if you do your research, you can trade your timeshare for free. The unit we stayed in had marble floors, a Jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, large screen TV and stereo system with lots and lots of space. What a way to experience Spain!

Timeshare has allowed us to dramatically increase the quality of our vacations. Having more space and more amenities has spoiled us. Yet to this day when we say the word 'timeshare' we still get that look.
